It is God who gives victory……………..

The LORD gave David victory wherever he went. (2 Samuel 8:6), David was smart. David was good. David was skilled. But, God gave the victory. Like us, being smart, good and skilled at what we do is not enough to truly win. It’s up to God. The message here is clear—victory and defeat are not determined by the size or power of our enemies but upon the Lord God. It is God who gives victory. Make Plans for the Next Victory. In the Bible, Caleb helped lead the people of Israel into their Promised Land. But scripture tells us that Caleb didn’t just stop there. In fact, when he was 80 years old he said, “God, give me another mountain.” He was saying, “God give me something else to do. Give me another assignment.” Notice, he was planning on living out his life in victory. He could have said, “God, just let me retire. Man, my back’s hurting. I can hardly see anymore. Medicare wouldn’t pay that latest prescription. I’m so aggravated.” No, he was strong. He was energetic; he was ready for the next challenge. Friend, no matter how old or how young you are, God has another assignment for you. You wouldn’t be here if God didn’t have a purpose for you. I believe that this next year is going to be your best ever. Why don’t you make plans for another victory! Make plans to increase in influence, abundance and favor. Choose today to live full of joy, peace, strength and health and take a step of faith into the life of blessing He has in store for you! Father in heaven, thank You for creating me and giving my life purpose. Help me discover the gifts and talents You’ve placed within me so that I can use them for Your glory. Thank You for another victory in this New Year. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

True happiness………….

Happiness does not mean living without pain or hurt—not at all. True happiness is learning how to live one day at a time, in spite of sorrow and pain. It is learning how to rejoice in the Lord, no matter what has happened in the past. You may feel rejected and abandoned. Your faith may be weak and you think you mare down for the count. Sorrow, tears, pain, and emptiness may swallow you up at times, but God is still on the throne. He is still God! Convince yourself that you will survive. You will come out of it and, live or die, you belong to the Lord. Life does go on and it will surprise you how much you can bear with God’s help. You cannot help yourself or stop the pain, but our blessed Lord will come to you. He will place his loving hand under you and lift you up to sit again in heavenly places. He will deliver you from the fear of dying and he will reveal his endless love for you. Look up! Encourage yourself in the Lord. When the fog surrounds you and you can’t see any way out of your dilemma, lie back in the arms of Jesus and simply trust him. He has to do it all! He wants your faith and your confidence. He wants you to cry aloud, “Jesus loves me! He is with me! He will not fail me! He is working it all out, right now! I will not be cast down! I will not be defeated! I will not be a victim of Satan! I will not lose my mind or my direction. God is on my side! I love him and he loves me!” The bottom line is faith. And faith rests on this one absolute: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper…” (Isaiah 54:17).

 I asked God to take away my pride, and God said, "No". He said it was not for Him to take away, but for me to give up. I asked God to make my handicapped child whole, and God said, "No". He said her spirit is whole, but her body is only temporary. I asked God to grand me patience, and God said, "No". He said that patience is a by-product of tribulation, it isn't granted, and it’s earned. I asked God to give me happiness, and God said, "No". He said He gives blessings, but happiness is up to me.  I asked God to spare me pain, and God said, "No". He said, "Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me." I asked God to make my spirit grow, and God said, "No". He said I must grow on my own, but he would prune me to make me fruitful. God will not allow any difficulty to come into our lives that we are not capable of bearing. But what does it mean to “overcome” trials? It means the trials do not overcome our faith or our position as children of God, but we come through the trials in fact. Our eternal destiny is not in danger, because we are kept by the Holy Spirit who was given to us as a down payment on our salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14) I asked God if He loved me, and God said, "Yes". He gave me His only Son who died for me, and I will be in Heaven someday because I believe.

A ten year old disobedience boy………..

Recently; I read an amazing story about a small kid in United States, This story has great meaning in it. A ten year old disobedience boy was failing to show excellence in studies, His parents tried everything from tutors to teachers; but nothing worked out. Finally, at the insistence of a family friend, they decided to enroll their son in a Christian organizational school. After the first day, the boy's parents were surprised when he walked in after school with a stern, focused and very determined expression on his face. He went straight past them, right to his room and quietly closed the door. For nearly two hours he toiled away in his room - with school books strewn about his desk and the surrounding floor. He emerged long enough to eat, and after quickly cleaning his plate, went straight back to his room, closed the door and worked feverishly at his studies until bedtime. This pattern of behavior continued until it was time for the first quarter's report card. The boy walked in with it unopened - laid it on the dinner table and went straight to his room. Cautiously, his mother opened it and, to her amazement, boy scored 90 percentages of marks in all the subjects, Overjoyed, she and her husband rushed into their son's room, thrilled at his remarkable progress. "Was it the nuns that did it?" the father asked. The boy shook his head and said "No." "Was it the one-to-one tutoring? The peer-mentoring?" "No." "The textbooks? The teachers? The curriculum?" "No", said the son. "On that first day, when I walked in the front door and saw that man (Jesus) nailed to the cross, I KNEW they meant for disobedience kids!" Later her mother explained, The man on the cross was Christ, He was crushed and cursed, that we may be blessed. His mother was so happy that cross changed his son.

Jesus promised, 'REST". He said His yoke is "EASY" and his burden" LIGHT". Three words Jesus used- REST, EASY & LIGHT. Contrast it to our lives today- RESTLESS, DIFFICULT & BURDENSOME & HEAVY.

Apostel Paul, beaten, imprisoned,stoned, ship wrecked, hungry, YET HAD TIME TO COMMUNICATE. WE HAVE NEW TESTAMENT BECAUSE OF HIS LETTERS.
